Care to Learn International · Kenya

Empowering communities. Equipping leaders. Creating lasting change.

What is Care to Learn?

A Kenyan-led pathway from skill to sustainability

Care to Learn International is a Kenyan NGO established by Kenyans for the benefit of fellow Kenyans. It equips people with practical skills, leadership training, and opportunities that help communities move toward sustainable, self-directed development.

Care to Learn International exists to empower Kenyans with life and leadership skills so that they, in turn, may lead, inspire, and train others.

The work emphasizes development rather than relief, and self-sustainability rather than dependency. Practical solutions are demonstrated at the center in Matasia, taught to the community, applied with support, and connected to livelihoods.

The approach

From learning to lasting impact

We do not just deliver a program. We build a pathway: Exhibit, Educate, Enable, Employ.

  1. 01

    Exhibit

Demonstrate practical solutions at the center — solar, water, agriculture, and more — so people can see them work.

  2. 02

    Educate

Teach how those solutions work, and train pastors and community leaders in leadership, health, and economics.

  3. 03

    Enable

Walk with people as they apply what they have learned in their own homes, churches, and villages.

  4. 04

    Employ

Create pathways toward livelihoods and self-sufficiency, including work at the center itself.
