Kelvin Maundu: Called to Reach the Next Generation
Youth pastor, King’s Family Church
My name is Kelvin Maundu, and I am a youth pastor at King’s Family Church. I have been serving as a youth pastor for the past two years.
I knew God was calling me to youth ministry because I love interacting with young people. I love preaching to them and spending time with them. Through my ministry, I have seen many young people come to know the Lord and be saved, and I thank God for that.
My prayer for young people, especially Gen Z, is that God will help them become involved in ministry so that we can serve together. I pray that many more young people will come into the Kingdom and discover the value of serving the Lord.
My training at Divine Providence Training Center (DPTC) is helping me grow as a pastor. I am learning how to better interpret Scripture and how to work with people, particularly the young people in my community.
I am thankful to DPTC for giving me this opportunity to study and become better equipped for the ministry God has called me to.
